Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) was first detected in China in 2009. It is a new infectious disease that was first confirmed to be infected in 2011. It is mainly transmitted by ticks infected with the virus that causes SFTS. Currently, the outbreak of patients has been confirmed in China and Japan. It is characterized by the syndrome, which usually occurs from spring to autumn when ticks, which are carriers, are active. Initially, digestive system symptoms such as fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain of more than 40 degrees Celsius are present. It is also accompanied by headache, muscle pain, and swelling of lymph nodes.
