Malaria occurs in most tropical regions, and 40 percent of the world's population, or 2 billion people, live in the polluted areas. The pathogen of malaria is malaria protozoa, which is carried by mosquitoes. There are four types of malaria: tropical fever malaria, silane malaria, oropharyngeal malaria, and trivalent malaria.
