Malaria occurs in most tropical regions, and 40 percent of the world's population, or 2 billion people, live in the polluted areas. There are 150 million cases each year, and the African continent alone is estimated to kill more than 1 million children under the age of 5 each year. The pathogen of malaria is malaria protozoa, which is carried by mosquitoes. There are four types of malaria: tropical fever malaria, silane malaria, oropharyngeal malaria, and trivalent malaria. Among these, tropical fever malaria has been identified the most (75%), followed by trimester malaria (20%). Typical symptoms of malaria are the onset of circulatory attacks followed by numbness, fever and sweating. When you travel to a tropical area or return home from living, you must inform your doctor of your travel history to remind you of tropical fever malaria.
